Here are some instructions to sleep well in igloos
  1. Bring warm clothing, clean and dry. For example, fleece or flannel clothing. It should not be clothes that you have worn during the day because even if they seem dry, they contain the moisture of the day. Avoid cotton because it promotes the creation of moisture and you will be cold.
  2. You can spend the evening at the hostel, take a shower, eat etc. When you are ready to sleep, you take your gear and go to the igloo to sleep.
  3. Avoid alcohol because it often gives a false sense of heat and increases the risk of hypothermia.
  4. Once in the igloo, you put your mattress on the bed, your sleeping bag and the fleece sheets inside. You slip inside and put your clothes in a bag next to you and not in your sleeping bag. We never put the clothes in the bottom of the sleeping bag because it makes a ball at the bottom and we are cold.
  5. If you get cold during the night, you can come back inside and go to your room.
  6. In the morning, you pick up your gear and come back to the inn. The receptionists will help you recover your equipment.
  7. Good night
